We loved working with Karen Walsh. Having lived her entire life in the Plymouth NH area, Karen brings an unsurpassed level of knowledge of the local real estate market. She knows the positives and negatives of living in different neighborhoods, and she is not afraid to caution against something that may not be the best match for her clients. There were many times where Karen could have tried to push us towards something that we could have ultimately regretted, but she instead was always patient with us as we continued to refine our search criteria. We got the feeling that she truly wanted to do what was best for us. Along the way, Karen helped to connect us with multiple contractors that we will likely utilize in the future for smaller scale projects in our new home. We are very happy that we had a chance to work with Karen and will look her up next time we need to buy or sell a home.

I have nothing but praise for Karen Walsh and for her diligent assistance in advice, expertise, guidance, and availability on this sale. Not only was this a business transaction but I learned from her and have a better understanding of how the market and real estate work. In my opinion, she went above and beyond as I essentially could not be on site, but she was always willing to be available, not only for the showings, of course, but everything else that required a presence (and there were several of those times). Now, I believe that I am spoiled because Karen has set the standard of what a real estate agent should be in all aspects given the complexity of the process. I don’t get up to the area very often but would love to visit if I have the opportunity (I had really intended to do this before the property sold). Should I have questions in the near future, I look forward to consulting with Karen and Badger Peabody & Smith Realty.

Karen Walsh and I connected when I contacted her about my desire to purchase several acres of land for my retirement. We discussed budget, locations, and my wish list. I let her know my number one requirement was that I must be able to keep my horse on the property. Every week I’d receive listings and a couple of times a month Karen would call to chat. It took a while but in November 2023 I received a listing that met all my requirements. I immediately reached out to Karen and that night she called me. With Karen’s guidance and experience she walked me through the process-within 24 hours my offer was submitted and within 48 hours Karen called to inform me my offer was accepted, I was beyond excited and Karen was just as excited for me! Because the property was in Probate it took several months within the court system. Karen diligently extended closing dates while probate dragged on, she checked in with me and with the sellers agent making sure everything kept moving forward. I must admit I was ready to give up a few times but Karen knew how close I was to achieving my retirement goal and due to her positivity, encouragement, and professionalism my dream finally came true on April 24th, I am now the proud owner of 5.3 acres of land and can’t wait to start building my dream home and a barn for Zeke. Not only is Karen a fantastic Realtor® but I also consider her a friend.

Karen is the Best!

Karen Walsh was an absolute pleasure to work with, from the initial contact thru to the sale closing on January 6, 2020. She was very knowledgeable, advising me on setting a realistic listing value as well as current characteristics of it and its location. Karen provided me with, and guided me thru all the various documents/forms which had to be filled out, always kept me updated on developments and mailings I would receive. When ever I had questions or concerns, Karen was always just a phone call away. I never had to leave a voicemail! I should note, that all correspondence, paper/documents etc. was conducted via the mail or phone as I do not have a computer or cell phone. All my calls were answered in a knowledgeable, cheerful manor and eased any anxiety I might be experiencing. The bottom line here is Karen was talking with a friend. She made the entire process as smooth and stress free as I could have ever wished for.
